The interactive "over-the-shoulder" program familiarizes the participant with our modern boutique surgical practice. As our guest clinician, you will shadow Dr. Michael Sonick for one or two days and be able to sit in on patient processing, treatment planning and case closure. There is a special emphasis on chairside surgical observation. Our state-of-the-art audiovisual system allows you to watch procedures up close and in comfort, whether you are in the surgical suite or a conference room. Please let us share our success with you. Eligibility: This program is open only to restorative dentists and specialists with advanced surgical training and experience. Prior completion of a Sonick Seminars course or an equivalent module is highly recommended. This course is limited to four doctors. |

Este Curso teórico-práctico tiene como objetivo introducir y familiarizar al profesional a la Implantología. Una vez finalizado, éste deberá ser capaz de incorporar la Implantología a su práctica clínica, tanto a nivel quirúrgico como protésico.El Curso está dirigido a un número limitado de asistentes y constará de 5 módulos, de día y medio de duración (12 horas por módulo). Cada módulo está estructurado por una parte teórica y otra parte práctica donde se podrán realizar: Diagnóstico y plan de tratamiento, colocación de implantes en mandíbula artificial, toma de impresiones, colocación de pilares sobre fantomas, asistencia a cirugías en directo, todo ello encaminado a que cada uno de los cursillistas llegue a tener una visión completa de la Implantología moderna. Al finalizar el Curso se le entregará a cada profesional un diploma acreditativo de su asistencia.

El objetivo del presente curso es que todos los asistentes adquieran un conocimiento teórico y práctico de la implantología que les permita enfrentarse con tranquilidad a la resolución de los problemas mas frecuentes en este campo. El curso es modular lo que permite al alumno afianzar los conceptos antes de iniciar el siguiente nivel y de ese modo no descolgarse del resto de cursillistas. Consta de 6 módulos, cada uno se impartirá durante un viernes mañana y tarde y el sábado siguiente por la mañana. Cada módulo consta de una parte teórica y otra práctica en la que el alumno podrá colocar implantes en una mandíbula artificial y manejar los diferentes aditamentos protésicos. Asimismo se realizarán levantamiento de colgajos en mandíbula de cerdo. Por otro lado el alumno ayudará en la colocación de implantes en pacientes en los que previamente se habrá realizado una correcta planificación comentada en la sala. Confiamos en colmar las expectativas de los más exigentes, para ello contamos con profesores de gran prestigio nacional y de gran experiencia en el campo docente.
