The Navigator® System - The option to provide a laboratory fabricated, fixed provisional restoration immediately following implant placement
With a Navigator Case, implant placement and abutment selection are determined pre-operatively with the aid of 3-dimensional planning software. The use of a patient-specific Navigator Surgical Guide in conjunction with the Navigator Laboratory Kit allows for the fabrication of a Master Cast prior to intraoral implant placement. The implant analogs are positioned to reflect the pre-determined, virtual treatment plan and are later replicated surgically during the implant procedure. A design feature of the Navigator Components enables controlled replication of hex orientation from the implant analog in the cast, to the actual implant in the mouth. As a result, in cases of immediate-load, a provisional restoration can be fabricated for delivery with minimal chairside modification immediately following the implant procedure.
